The Kaduna state governor Malan Nasir Ahmad El-rufai has expressed his appreciation toward the contributions of the National Association for Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and it's members in the development of Kaduna state and the nation at large
The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Hajiya Hadiza Balarabe Sabuwa,in an opening ceremony of three days induction program organised by the association recently in Kaduna.
He however, congratulate the Kaduna branch of ANAN for hosting the 5th session of the mandatory continuing profession development (MCPD) program with the of;Re-engineering Accounting in the Post Covid Era."
"We welcome the participants and wish you a successful and fuith MCDP program".
In his goodwill message, the commissioner Kaduna state ministry of business, innovation and technology, Idris Samaila Nyam,said that, the theme of the program is pertinent to the current realities in the country.seeing that the devastating impact of covid 19 pandemic is not only limited to the public health, but also apparent in financial sector.
" it's important therefore to promote conversation and public discourse geared towards helping practitioners respond better, recovered and thrive through that trying time's."
Earlier in his welcoming address, the chairman Kaduna branch of ANAN, Mr Musa Duniya Mudu, commended governor Nasir El-rufai for being a loving personality to the association and partner in campaign for the promoting of knowledge and supporting good leadership in the state and Nigeria at large.
"He achieved a lot to mentioned a few; internal generated revenue that has kept the state on top in the nation, young people in leadership, transparency in government. Also encouraged all Accounting staff for both state and local government staff to present ANAN or ICAN professional certificate of some position and promotion. He added.
