The Federal Constituency of Guyuk/Shelleng Federal Constituency All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket was clinched by Mr. Haruna T. Daniel. Children's Day ; Jedela Talent Skills Centre Host Children To Chess Tournament

As part of activities that marked the celebration of the children's day, the Jedela talent and skills centre in collaboration with Kaduna Chess Association concluded a chess tournament where winners in all categories emerged. The children's day chess tournament was for children ages 8-13 category and ages 14-17 category. The tournament which produced the finals that climaxed on 27th May. 2022  started on 13-14 May 2022 where finalist for the Kaduna South and Chikun area were produced. Dr Bindir gets grassroots endorsement as he tours 7 LGs of Adamawa central meeting APC delegates

The immediate past Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Adamawa State, Dr. Umar Bindir has toured the seven Local Government Areas of the Central zone and sought the All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates' support. Bindir went round all the headquarters of Hong, Gombi, Song, Girei, Yola North, Yola South, and Fofure APC's party secretariat and interacted with the delegates ahead of rescheduled primaries of the party as the 2023 draw nearer. On each of the visits, Umar got a solidarity endorsement of his capacity to represent the senatorial district of Adamawa central because of his magnanimity gestures while a Director and coordinator of NOTAB, and NSIP respectively. According to one of the delegates, Umar is the only one that he knows can serve the people of Adamawa well because he has a natural love for the state and he is lover of people by nature. While declaring the result the electoral officer that presided the primary election Hon Aliyu Mohammed Dogon Daji also the vice Chairman of Kaduna south local government, announced the emerged of Aliyu Musa as the winner, who have duly secured the high vote cast in the election.
