EFCC Arrests Ex-Governor, Tanko Almakuta For Alleged Money Laundering

A former governor of Nassarawa state, Tanko Al-Makura has been arrested by the commission of the Economic and Financial Crime, EFCC. According to Eagle 🦅 eyes reporter's Al-Makura was allegedly arrested alongside his wife, Mairo by EFCC operatives. Citing anonymous sources, the newspaper added that the couples were being grilled by operatives of the anti-graft agency at its headquarters in Abuja. Eagle 🦅 eyes gathered that the arrest has to do with suspected money laundering. A source discloses that 55 bank accounts were being controlled by the couple and their companies were involved in several suspicious transactions, amounting to billions of naira, when Al-Makura was the governor of Nasarawa State between 2011 and 2019. It was learned that shortly after Al-Makura became governor, huge sums of money were being funnelled through some of the accounts in a structured pattern. Lagos Yoruba Nation Rally: Police misfires again, kills 14-year-old drink seller with stray bullet in Ojota.

A youghurt seller, identified simply as Jumoke, has been killed by bullets reportedly fired by a security operative dispersing Yoruba Nation agitators at Ojota, Lagos State. EyewitnessMedia gathered that bullets had severed the stomach of the girl, said to be 14 years. She was reportedly displaying drinks at a shop when the bullet hit her. The lifeless body of the unknown girl was crowded by sympathisers at the scene, before it was covered with a piece of cloth as crowd gathered at the spot.

Justice Binta Nyako Remands IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu In DSS Custody, Case Adjourned To July 26.

Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja has remanded the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu in the custody of the Department of State Service (DSS). Justice Nyako made the ruling on Tuesday, when Kanu was presented in the court for the continuation of his trial.WazobiaReporters was told that Kanu was not represented in court, prompting the judge to order the DSS to inform his lawyers as the case was adjourned to July 26 for continuation. Kanu founded IPOB in 2014. The main aim of IPOB is to create an independent state for the people of old Eastern Region of Nigeria. The group has been blamed for recent attacks on security operatives in the South East. It was learnt that he was arrested and extradited to Nigeria on Sunday. President Muhammadu Buhari has said his government will treat bandits in the language they understand and that Nigerians will start seeing improvements in the poor security situation soon. The president said this during an interview with Arise TV on Thursday. Nnamdi Kanu is an impostor; we are behind “unknown gunmen” – Biafra Revolutionary Forces.

The Biafra Revolution Forces (BRF) has claimed responsibility for the attacks on government facilities in the South East and other parts of Nigeria. The group also claimed responsibility for the killing of some security personnel, describing the Supreme Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as an impostor. A Germany-based Nigerian man, Oguchi Unachukwu has been reported killed in Imo on Tuesday morning, June 1. According to reports, Unachukwu was on his way to the Sam Mbakwe Airport Owerri, going back to Germany when he was shot in the head at a military checkpoint by a soldier. The Army is yet to comment on the incident. See photos below.

Breaking: Ex-Enugu High Court Judge, Justice Stanley Nnaji, Killed By Unknown gun men.

The gunmen in a video shared by BarristerNG on Twitter revealed how the former judge was dragged out of his car by three assailants and shot three times.   Justice Nnaji was a Judge of the Enugu State High Court until he was dismissed following his role in the removal of Governor Chris Ngige, the then Governor of Anambra State in 2007 via a questionable ex-parte order. This is coming, a few hours after the former Special Adviser on politics to President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Owerri, Imo State.

Former Special Adviser Political to President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak was murdered by gunmen in Owerri Imo State. The Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum has alleged that some ministers have surrendered to the activities of people who are bent on destabilising the country. The PDP Govenors made the allegation in a statement on Sunday while reacting to the attack on the convoy of Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen on Saturday. In the statement signed by the chairman of the forum, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, the forum warned the ministers against supporting actitivites that could lead to anarchy in the country. 115 Young Ladies arrested in Abuja human milk factory deport.

The Nigerian security rescued 115 mothers in Abuja, whose breast milk was being harvested every day and then turned into different dairy products like cheese, butter, and fresh milk.  Some of these girls were as young as 16, the oldest being 22, and most of them were reported missing in the last 3 years. Nigeria Police suspected that their capturers recorded everything they did to them for the past three years and uploaded it to the dark web to entertain their clients.  The girls were raped and impregnated live on the internet, and after giving birth, they milked them like cows every day, and their milk was processed using some of the latest technology in the dairy industry.   3 starving cows were kept as a front in case police started to look into the place.
